At the Nezu Museum, there is also a known restoration work by the 9th Raku generation, Ryōnyu (1756–1834)—a combed-pattern celadon bowl similar to the one inscribed "Mei-Ozakura" (銘遅桜). Pre-war auction catalogs also record examples where Ryōnyu or the 10th generation, Dannyu (1795–1854), restored damaged parts of tea bowls (for example, the "Jukō Celadon Tea Bowl, Restored by Ryōnyu, with Box Inscription by Ryōnyu" from the Auction of the Collection of a Certain Count's Household, June 25, 1923; and the "Jukō Tea Bowl, Defective and Restored by Ryōnyu" from the Auction of the Collection of the Inoue Marquis's Household, November 9, 1925).

In addition, numerous replicas (copies) of Jukō tea bowls were produced by figures such as dōnyu, Eiraku Hōzen (1795–1854), and Wazen (1823–96). A notable example is the Jukō celadon replica tea bowl made by Eiraku Wazen, formerly in the North Mitsui family collection and now housed at the Mitsui Memorial Museum (stamped with the "Kahin Shiryū" [河濱支流] seal). Furthermore, auction catalogs and the Kyoto National Museum's Temple and Shrine Survey Report show that Hōzen, Wazen, and others produced a large number of Jukō celadon replica tea bowls. Considering these facts in relation to the Sen family, it is conceivable that this was not merely a matter of copying Jukō tea bowls or indulging a preference for Chinese ceramics. In other words, as Dr. Tani points out, centered around Jōōshinshai and Kawakami Fuhaku, the Sen family's tea ceremony sought to assert itself as the orthodox lineage stretching from the tea ancestor Jukō through Takeno Jōō to Rikyū. As a means of legitimizing this authority, the preference for and use of tea utensils associated with Jukō served as the background for the revival of Jukō (celadon) tea bowls in the latter half of the Edo period.
