拍賣筆記 vol.452 蘇富比紐約2026：南宋吉州窰剪紙貼花盌，瓊肯三世 - Sotheby’s New York 2026, A ‘Jizhou' 'Papercut' Bowl, Junkunc Collection, Southern Song Dynasty
吉州窯剪紙貼花的市場，不太可能因為一個傳世吉州窯茶碗拍出超過1000萬港元而帶動全部吉州窯普漲。原因如下：
1、來源極為罕見，至少有平瀨露香可以確認，德川家、松平不昧與小堀題箱可能性；2、高價拍出的那件品相好，而大部分吉州窯有商業修復、有碎拼、補片等，3、傳世的皮殼帶彩光，有使用的溫潤感。這些綜合起來都是十分罕見的，而其他普通出土品並無法提供3點集合的優勢，故價格不能同一而論。
本拍品來自著名的收藏家史蒂芬•瓊肯三世（1978年逝）收藏，有不少加分，內壁剪紙貼花的流釉呈紅色如晚霞較少，是吉州窯此類的罕見類別，同時也是當時的極致審美追求（參考松平不昧舊藏的國寶散花天目茶碗，現藏京都相國寺承天閣美術館）。外壁玳瑁釉配合內壁梅花的話極為少見，但搭配此類剪紙貼花並不算罕見。品相上有口沿的小磕碰，在茶碗中並不影響，衝線有2英寸則稍微減分。

Condition Report
The bowl with a small rim chip and restoration to: rim frits and small chips, a rim chip with an associated hairline crack (approx. 2 inches), and another hairline crack of approximately the same length. There is wear overall, some crazing, and minor imperfections consistent with age and type.

The market for Jizhou paper-cut appliqué wares is unlikely to see a broad, across-the-board rise simply because a single heirloom Jizhou tea bowl has sold for more than HK$10 million. The reasons are as follows:
Provenance of extreme rarity. At the very least, Hirase Roko can be confirmed; associations with the Tokugawa house, Matsudaira Fumai, and a Kobori-inscribed box are also possible.
Condition of the record piece is excellent. Most Jizhou wares, by contrast, show commercial restoration, assembly from fragments, patches, and the like.
The heirloom surface carries iridescent lustre and the mellow warmth of long use.
Taken together, these qualities are exceedingly rare. Ordinary excavated pieces cannot offer this combination of advantages, and therefore cannot be priced on the same terms.
The present lot comes from the collection of the distinguished collector Stephen Junkunc III (d. 1978)—already a meaningful plus. The running glaze on the interior paper-cut decoration appears red, like evening glow: a scarce effect within this Jizhou type, and one that also represented the height of contemporary aesthetic ambition (cf. the National Treasure sanka tenmoku / scattered-flower tea bowl formerly in the collection of Matsudaira Fumai, now in the Shōkoku-ji Jotenkaku Museum, Kyoto). A tortoiseshell-glazed exterior paired with plum blossoms on the interior is extremely uncommon; pairing that exterior with this kind of paper-cut decoration, however, is not especially rare. In condition, there are small nicks to the rim—of little consequence on a tea bowl—while a hairline crack of about two inches is a modest deduction.
