唐代筆記 vol.41 藍理捷紐約：唐代白瓷皮囊壺，或為邢窯弄器 - J.J.Lally, A Small White Glaze Porcelain Flask, Tang Dynasty

袖珍器型罕見，這類唐代的作品如銀似雪的白釉質量是毫無疑問當時的世界巔峰技術，或許為河北邢窯的作品。唐代邢窯定窯各自綻放，釉色瑩潤，積釉處略泛淡藍色。這件作品造型較標準器小，或為弄器。

This miniature vessel form is exceptionally rare. The silvery-white glaze, as lustrous as snow, represents the undisputed pinnacle of global ceramic technology during the Tang dynasty and is likely a product of the Xing kilns in Hebei. During the Tang period, both the Xing and Ding kilns flourished independently, each showcasing their brilliance. The glaze is lustrous and translucent, with a pale bluish tint pooling in the recesses. Notably smaller than standard examples, this piece may have been made as a "nongqi" (display or scholar’s object).

此件小型白瓷壺為唐代作品，模仿旅行者所用的皮製水囊造型而製，壺體呈鼓脹的袋形，上部收束，以雙盾形皮襟裝飾，邊緣模擬縫線，並於頂部施加環形扣件。壺體一端的「尾部」作摺褶狀，另一端接短小直筒壺嘴，兩端之間由高起的弧形提梁連接。壺嘴下方配有鉚釘狀頸圈與懸垂流蘇裝飾。壺體正反兩面為寬大壓扁面，周緣可見模仿縫線的長條形接縫飾。全器施一層透明光澤釉，凹處釉色積聚，呈淡青玻璃光澤。底部無釉，胎體為白瓷，部分區域因燒成不均呈淡褐色。

本壺形制特殊，與北京故宮博物院藏一件造型相似而器面素雅的唐代白瓷壺可資比較，該件曾刊於《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集：晉唐瓷器》（香港，1996年），編號88，頁98-99，亦見於《千年邢窯》（北京，2007年），頁155。另可參見一件於1996年河北省故城出土之唐代白瓷皮囊壺，其裝飾與本器極為類似，亦運用同一技法，該件刊於《千年邢窯》封面及頁156-157。

另有一件同形唐代白瓷壺，飾以刻花紋樣，現藏台北故宮博物院，著錄於《故宮藏宋瓷圖錄—定窯及定系瓷》（台北，1973年），圖版7。

1.A SMALL WHITE PORCELAIN FLASK

Tang Dynasty (A.D. 618-907)

modelled after a traveller’s leather canteen of bulging bag shape gathered at the top by a double-shield-shaped flap edged with mock stitching and ring-fasteners applied over the tapered crest and bridged by a high loop handle rising from a pleated “tail” at one end and terminating beside a short cylindrical spout at the other end, applied with a tassel hanging down from a studded collar around the base of the spout, and with long projecting “stitched” borders over the pinched seams around the perimeters of the two wide sides, covered on the exterior with a shiny transparent glaze which pools to a glassy pale-bluish tone in the recesses, the flat base left unglazed revealing the white porcelain body unevenly fired to pale tan-brown over part of the surface.

A small Tang white porcelain flask of very similar form with plain sides in the Palace Museum, Beijing, is illustrated in Gugong Bowuyuan Cang Wenwu Zhenpin Quanji: Jin Tang Ciqi (The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum: Porcelain of the Jin and Tang Dynasties), Vol. 31, Hong Kong, 1996, no. 88, pp. 98-99, and the same flask is illustrated again in Qiannian Xing Yao (Xing Kiln in its Millenium), Beijing, 2007, p. 155. A larger and more elaborate Tang white porcelain flask of closely related form, decorated with similar designs executed using the same techniques as are seen on the Gordon flask, excavated in 1996 at Gucheng, Hebei province, is illustrated on the cover of the same book, with additional illustrations and summary information, op. cit, pp. 156-157.

Compare also the small Tang white porcelain flask of similar form with incised decoration in the Illustrated Catalogue of Sung Dynasty Porcelain in the National Palace Museum, Ting Ware and Ting-Type Ware, Taipei, 1973, pl. 7.

本作は、旅行者が使用する皮製の水筒を模して作られた唐時代の小型白磁壺である。膨らんだ袋状の本体上部には、縫い目を模した意匠を持つダブルシールド形の襟が被せられ、先端に環形の鋲があしらわれている。一端はプリーツ状の「尾」を成し、他端には短い円筒形の注口が付属し、両者の間をアーチ状に高く立ち上がる持ち手が橋渡しする。注口の根元には鋲装飾の襟があり、そこから房飾りが垂れ下がっている。正背両面は広く扁平で、縫い目を模す線状装飾が周縁を縁取っている。全体に透明釉が施され、凹部では釉が溜まり、淡い青味を帯びたガラス質の光沢を呈している。底部は無釉で、白磁胎が露出し、一部に焼成時の変化により淡褐色に変色した箇所が見られる。

類例として、北京・故宮博物院に収蔵されている同形の白磁壺がある（『故宮博物院蔵文物珍品全集：晉唐瓷器』、1996年、図版88、pp.98-99）、同作は『千年邢窯』（2007年）にも掲載（p.155）されている。また、1996年に河北省故城で出土したより大形で複雑な装飾の白磁皮囊壺も、『千年邢窯』の表紙およびpp.156-157に図版と共に紹介されている。

さらに、同様の形状で彫花文様を施した白磁壺が台北‧故宮博物院に所蔵されており、『故宮蔵宋瓷図録－定窯および定系磁器』（1973年）図版7に収載されている。
