造型較為特別，確實不排除是六朝的。東漢到六朝這段時間是中國歷史上最混亂，戰爭最激烈的時代，然而往往在最激盪的年代卻能誕生最偉大的藝術。雖僅僅是獸足，卻在同類中立體感較強，造型獨為一格。漢代常見的承足多為熊，而本件是張口露出牙齒的類似饕餮的野獸，帶有羚羊般的雙角。藍理捷一直有文人情懷，對學術上也十分嚴謹，他在文人品味甄選上，特別是這種青銅材質的，十分具有慧眼。師承羅樾（Max Loehr），可謂是根正苗紅。來自Max N. Berry貝里的傳承，加分。（SACA觀察，2026.09.30）

This small support is powerfully cast with fierce and sharply defined features, including curled horns, bulging eyes, and a blunt snout with pronounced teeth and fangs. The chin rests on a cloven hoof, and the back has a protruding bar for attachment. Gilt-bronze cast masks with similar facial features were used on a variety of Han-dynasty fittings, including a small example (2 ¾ in. wide) of rectangular shape from the Sze Yuan Tang Collection, sold at Christie’s New York, 16 September 2010, lot 860.
