定窯盤15.5cm的尺寸不算大，定窯造假嚴重，這類素盤由於胎體較薄因此也無法做牛津熱釋光鑑定因此成為造假重災區。除非有十分巨大的傳承和出版，不然來歷不明的器物以後在市場上還會繼續承壓。

At 15.5 cm in diameter, this Ding ware dish is not particularly large. Due to the prevalence of forgeries in the Ding ware market, plain dishes of this type—being thinly potted—cannot undergo thermoluminescence testing at Oxford, and thus fall into a high-risk category for later reproductions. Unless supported by a very strong and well-documented provenance and early publication, pieces with uncertain history are likely to remain under pressure in the market for the foreseeable future.
