本品呈扁豆形，枕面巧妙剔刻盛開牡丹一枝，伴以纏枝葉紋，構圖生動優雅。枕面施以琥珀色與綠色釉，映襯於乳白色地之上，釉色交融，富有層次。枕側上下緣飾以雙道刻線邊框，並通體施琥珀釉，與枕面相映成趣。器底無釉，露胎，可見胎質。附日本木盒。
