拍賣筆記 vol.464 佳士得紐約2026：3.84萬美元售出，唐三彩小長方枕，浦上蒼穹堂 - A Sancai-Glazed Rectangular Wrist Rest, Uragami Sokyudo Collection, Tang Dynasty, Sold for US$38,400

經典的小長方枕，日本學者與藏家常稱之為「腕枕」，在中國則被稱為「脈枕」，通俗而言即中醫把脈時所用。當然，這僅是基於尺寸的推測，也是為了與其他形制的枕頭作區分。目前為止，尚未有明確的出土證據證實這類小方枕的實際用途。

近期，在蘇富比香港「岡田美術館」的兩場專場拍賣中，浦上蒼穹堂（浦上滿）的品味與選品眼光再次得到印證。儘管當年他售予岡田和生的器物僅二、三十件，數量遠不及壺中居，但本次拍賣的成交價卻屢創紀錄，回報率驚人：其中極為珍罕的白釉鸚鵡杯、唐三彩褐釉坐犬等（三彩狗王），均打破了同類器物的世界拍賣紀錄，成績斐然。

相比之下，壺中居卻隱去了大部分經手售予岡田美術館器物的過往來源。這或許是其自身選擇，但據傳也因為其他經銷商、藏家，甚至岡田美術館前策展人本人不願透露，這無疑對拍賣結果造成了一定影響。此外，在拍賣現場，壺中居並未如繭山龍泉堂在「伊勢彥信（雞蛋大王）」專場中那般，積極帶領新客戶進場或代表公司舉牌「護盤」，而是更多地扮演了旁觀者的角色。這不禁令人質疑，作為核心經銷商，其是否盡到了應有的職責？更有傳言指出，壺中居甚至在岡田美術館的開館圖錄中，將其他經銷商經手的器物排除在外，此舉著實令人震驚。

回到這件源自浦上蒼穹堂的小長方枕，在名家傳承的加持下，儘管品相略有瑕疵，依然拍出了3.84萬美元（約合30萬港元）的佳績。這或許預示著未來的市場趨勢：藏家將越來越看重唐三彩的藝術質量與來源遞藏，而對品相的包容度也會隨之提高。（SACA觀察，2026.09.20）

The classic small rectangular pillow is often referred to as a "wrist pillow" by Japanese scholars and collectors, and a "pulse pillow" in China—commonly understood to be used by doctors when taking a patient's pulse. This, of course, is largely an assumption based on its size, serving as a convenient way to distinguish it from other types of pillows. To date, there is no archaeological evidence confirming the specific function of these small rectangular pillows.

The exceptional taste and curation skills of Mitsuru Uragami (Uragami Sokyudo) were recently validated during the two dedicated Okada Museum of Art sales at Sotheby's Hong Kong. Although he sold only 20 to 30 pieces to Kazuo Okada—a volume far smaller than that of Kochukyo—the auction prices achieved record highs with an impressive return on investment. Extremely rare pieces, including a white-glazed parrot cup and a Tang Sancai brown-glazed hound （Sancai Dog King), surpassed world auction records for their respective categories, achieving outstanding results.

In contrast, Kochukyo obscured the past provenance of most items they had handled and sold to the Okada Museum. This might have been their own choice, though rumors suggest that other dealers, collectors, and even the former curator of the Okada Museum were unwilling to disclose such information, which inevitably impacted the auction results. Furthermore, unlike Mayuyama Ryusendo, who actively brought in new clients and bid to defend prices during the Hikonobu Ise (the "Egg King") sale, Kochukyo remained largely on the sidelines as bystanders. This raises the question of whether the dealer has adequately fulfilled its responsibilities. Shockingly, it is also believed that Kochukyo intentionally excluded items handled by other dealers from the Okada Museum's inaugural catalog.

Bolstered by its distinguished Uragami Sokyudo provenance, this small rectangular pillow achieved a solid price of $38,400 USD (approximately 300,000 HKD) despite minor condition issues. This could signal a future market trend: collectors will increasingly prioritize the artistic quality and provenance of Tang Sancai wares, showing greater tolerance for minor imperfections.
