In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 crisis, the Asian Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Contemporary Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts (Di Young Museum and the Legion of Honor Museum) jointly decided to temporarily close the museum from March 14 (Saturday) until March. 27th. We will monitor the status every day and will inform you if we will extend the closing date. We believe this will help reduce virus transmission locally and maintain it at a level that the medical system can support.
In this uncertain time, we sincerely thank you for your patience and support. At the same time, you are welcome to browse the website, read the public account history articles, and follow our Weibo account @San Francisco Asia Art Museum during the closing period. And other ways to continue to understand and appreciate our world-class art collection.
