此類花口溫碗與托盤成套器，在高麗時期綠釉石質陶（亦即今日慣稱之「青瓷」）中並不多見。從器型關係與尺寸判斷，這兩組器物極可能原屬於一套更完整的成組陳設，使用場景或與王室宴饗相關，作為盛放珍饈或精緻食品之用。

其花瓣式口沿輪廓處理清晰而克制，線條轉折利落，顯示出極高水準的成型與修飾能力；釉色溫潤澄淨，呈現高麗青瓷最為人稱道的典型風貌，顯然屬於為宮廷階層燒造的高等級器物。器身可見細密而均勻分布的開片，並未被視為缺陷，反而為器物增添了一層含蓄而內斂的視覺層次。

高麗青瓷所追求的釉色，於宋代中國文獻中常以「翡翠色」或「翠青」加以稱頌。值得注意的是，高麗青瓷的成熟，既承繼了宋代中國多元青瓷系統的技術刺激與審美影響，亦在吸收之後發展出更為純化、凝練的色調與造型語言，最終形成一種反過來令宋人讚嘆的「異域之美」。

This type of bowl-and-saucer sets are rather unusual among green-glazed stoneware, more commonly identified as celadon, produced during the Goryeo dynasty. These two may have been made as part of a larger set and used as containers for delicacies during a dinner or banquet at the royal court. The graceful and crisply articulated floral shape and the beautiful color of the glaze indicate that these pieces were luxury goods for the court. The subtle crackles sprinkled throughout the body of the bowls add to their allure and are not considered a flaw. The "kingfisher color" of Goryeo dynasty celadon was highly praised by contemporary Song Chinese, whose own diverse traditions of celadon production initially inspired the Korean creations.
