Since 2018, the SACA has used its WeChat public account as a primary platform for the systematic study and documentation of ancient Chinese art. Rather than functioning as a stream of timely commentary or exhibition news, the platform has developed a sustained body of writing centered on objects, provenance research, and the historical formation of taste.

Under the authorship and editorial direction of Wang Qiusheng, the articles span bronzes, ceramics, sculpture, Buddhist art, painting, and the Karamono tradition. The approach is not driven solely by dynastic periodization or market trends, but by longer-term questions: how works are understood, how aesthetic judgments are formed, and how collecting practices are shaped within different institutional and cultural frameworks. From London, New York, and Tokyo to Beijing and Hangzhou, the writings consistently examine the interaction between private collectors, museums, and scholarly institutions, tracing the modern trajectories through which Chinese art has circulated globally.

This 2018–2025 compilation brings together the core body of work accumulated on the SACA platform over several years. It combines close readings of significant objects and exhibitions with measured reflections on collecting history, art historiography, and market context. While accessible to a general readership, the archive is conceived with long-term reference and scholarly use in mind.

In recent years, Wang Qiusheng has also written as a regular columnist for Caixin and related platforms, contributing essays on ancient art, collecting history, and cultural institutions. Together, the SACA archive and the Caixin columns form a complementary structure: the former emphasizing long-term accumulation and systematic inquiry, the latter engaging more directly with contemporary public discourse.
