21公分雖是不錯的尺寸，但絕非同類中最大者。口沿處有1.8公分的修復痕跡。購藏時應考量的重點在於：同類作品中是否存在更為震撼的例子，其品相是否可能超越此件；若確實存在，此件便無法被視為同類中的佼佼者，也就無法以此為由進行議價。
此類器物若能有更完整的歷史來源，或許能增添更多賣點，然而相關資訊始終被岡田博物館的策展人與壺中居所保護，其更完整的傳承脈絡因此不得而知。若純粹從岡田和生個人利益的角度來看，策展人（或稱經紀人）與古董商顯然都未能真正維護他的利益。

Outer mouth rim with a restored flake (approx. 1.8 cm). Otherwise in good overall condition, with minor expected surface wear.
外口沿見一小剝，約1.8公分，經修。除此以外，整體品相良好。見正常輕微器面磨痕。

While 21 cm is a respectable size, it is by no means the largest example of its kind. The rim shows a 1.8 cm restoration. The key consideration at the time of acquisition should have been whether more striking examples of the same type exist, and whether their condition could surpass this piece. If so, this piece cannot be regarded as the finest of its category, and therefore cannot be used as leverage in price negotiation. If more provenance were available for this type, it might offer additional selling points — but such information has always been guarded by the curator at the Okada Museum and by Kochukyo, leaving its fuller history unknown. Purely from the standpoint of Okada Wasei's own personal interests, neither the curator (or agent, as some describe him) nor the antique dealer appears to have genuinely safeguarded them.
