Gyllensvärd著《Chinese Ceramics in the Carl Kempe Collection》(斯德哥爾摩,1965年)第100頁,編號289,一件唐代邢窯獅耳執壺。

A Small Xingyao White-Glazed Lion-Handled Ewer
Late Tang Dynasty
Johnny (Myron S.) Falk, Jr. (1906–1992) and Pauline Falk (née Baerwald, 1910–2000) were distinguished American collectors and philanthropists, renowned for their sophisticated collection of Asian art, particularly Chinese ceramics. Their collecting was characterised by both aesthetic refinement and scholarly discernment, reflecting a deep engagement with the art and culture of East Asia. Beyond their personal collection, the Falks were active patrons and advocates for Asian art in the United States, supporting museums, research, and exhibitions. Pauline Falk was also deeply involved in social work and refugee support, while Johnny Falk served on numerous boards, including the New York Foundation and the Hebrew Technical Institute. Their legacy is preserved in the Pauline B. and Myron S. Falk, Jr. Papers at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art, Washington, D.C., which document their collecting practices, philanthropy, and contributions to the appreciation and study of Asian art in America.
